Is your Brave Browser out of date? The best way to check
Brave Browser is innovating fast and with each comes an update. Brave updates are not always automated so if you want to take advantage of latest features it is important to occasionally check. In this article I will show you a simple way to check if your Brave Browser is fully updated. I will also show the steps to update your browser to the latest version. How do I know if my Brave Browser is up to date?
The best way to know if your Brave Browser is simply by looking at the screen when using the Brave Browser. If your browser is not updated you will see a red circle with a white arrow inside next to the BAT logo located at the tool bar. With an updated Browser, on the toolbar, to the right of the BAT triangular logo we see a 3 line settings icon.
With a Browser that is NOT updated we see a red circle with a white arrow inside. Brave occasionally display a notice next to the icon reminding users to update. In my case I did received this notice which luckily brought the update to my attention.
Once we click in the icon the message is clear that the Brave Browser needs an update to function at its best.
How to get it updated?
