Justin Sun, Charlie Lee and Warren Buffet dinner finally happened

In 2019 Justin Sun, the Chinese cryptocurrency enthusiast and CEO of TRON and BitTorrent won a dinner with Warren Buffet in a yearly auction. The much anticipated dinner did not come fast but finally happened and was announced by Justin Sun today, Feb 6 2020, on Twitter. The CEO of TRON posted a picture of attendees as well as described interesting moments that happened during meal time. It was a moment of conversation and you can bet the table was talking about Bitcoin.
The dinner, which took place on January 23rd at Happy Hollow Club in Omaha, was also attended by Charlie Lee Litecoin creator, Chris Lee execute from Huobi, Helen Hai from Binance, Yoni Assia from Etoro as well as Justin Sun and Warren Buffet himself.
During the meeting Warren Buffet received his first Bitcoin along with many other gifts. In celebration of his birthday Warren also received 1,930,830 TRX corresponding to 89 years gifted by Justin Sun himself. Both BTC and TRON were stored in a Samsung Galaxy Fold Smartphone. In addition Mr. Buffet also received a bronze horse and a Chinese paper cutting of a mouse celebrating the year 2020.
Justin and Warren also took the time exchange book autograph, talk about Tesla as an investment and play with gadgets. According to Sun, he was able to show Warren his collaboration with @Samsungmobile and how to transfer the cryptocurrency TRON from one Samsung Fold to another. As Justin Sun described: “Mr. Buffett was impressed by the speed of #TRON!” Justin claimed he transferred 45,67888 TRX, which is equivalent to the auction bid. He also provided a transaction ID number in case any of us would like to verify the transaction online. I personally did!
Overall the meeting was very positive since it was an opportunity to hear Warren’s Buffet perspective on blockchain technology in general. According to Justin: Warren Buffett believes there is great potential in blockchain & lots of his portfolio companies are exploring it such as JP Morgan. He is curious to see how blockchain will play out in the payment industry in the next 10 yrs.” However Justin claims that Mr buffet feels Bitcoin still needs a lot of work in order to capture the value of blockchain.” Showing his favoritism to the Us dollar Warren Buffett also said “I’m sure my grandson would rather inherit my wealth in $USD.”
Justin also showcased on his tweet his admiration for Warren buffet and Bill Gates charitable work and feels inspired to follow their footsteps and create a crypto giving pledge. One that will be based on the blockchain allowing charities for more transparency and bigger global impact in. Justin ends his series of tweets thanking Warren for the invitation for a re-union in 2030 in which he hopes to bring “the one”. With that ending Justin sends a message that the dinner was quite entertaining, and that group did get a chance to even talk about love.
