Lbry.tv Versus Theta.tv: Key differences
In the video below, I showcase the key differences between LBRY.TV and Theta.TV.
Both platforms specialize in decentralized content delivery and are aimed to compete with centralized corporate giants such as YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Even though, LBRY.TV and Theta.TV are fairly new players they have experienced fast growth in the number of users in a short period of time.
The blockchain technology used to construct these networks is quite powerful and very attractive to viewers, content creators, and miners because the network itself is powered by its users and that equates to more profits. They eliminate the middle man between advertisers and content creators and also reward viewers for their attention. Super innovative and very community-driven and in both cases with a certain level of centralization which I will further explain in the video.
Although both platforms seem to provide the same service in my opinion at the moment they are not direct competitors. In my opinion, they are different in so many ways.
